Before 'normal' life once again assumes its rightful place, I just wanted to take a moment to express my - and our - most sincere gratitude for constructing and conducting the service for Tony Linnane last Thursday (16/11).

From the moment you arrived at the house last Tuesday (a mere 36 hours before his service) to his final farewell from W.D. Rose on Thursday, we could not have felt more supported.

Your enquiry interview was tender, empathetic and respectfully conversational; your representation of his life within the service itself was accurate and appropriate in every way; your personal care and attention to our family throughout the whole process was compassionate and supremely kind.

I have been overwhelmed by the multiple acts of kindness visited upon our family

this last 10 days or so. You are amongst those who will always be remembered with

deep and abiding gratitude by me and my family as a person who embodied and

imparted grace and compassion in our moment of supreme sorrow.

Good morning Julian,

I wanted to touch base with you and thank you so much for

everything yesterday.

I got so overwhelmed with people chatting to me that I did not manage to

acknowledge you, for that I apologise. You captured Dad’s life and story so beautifully. It was soft yet powerful J.

The service was really lovely and I truly believe that Dad would have been happy with what we put together for him.

I was surprised at the number of people that turned up for him, so that again was really nice. I feel somewhat lighter today and able to breathe a bit better with yesterday behind us.

The family were extremely happy with the way the service was put together and presented so on behalf of my siblings, children etc, we thank you again.

The Sanctuary is a really lovely space, so glad that we chose it. I know now that Dad is resting in peace, and that he received the farewell that he deserved.

Thank you Julian for making Robbie’s last day special. She was an exceptional lady, well loved and admired by many. You would have liked her too. Julian - You spoke so well on Friday and really understood how the three of us

felt towards Kim/Dad. I even liked how you gave a nice comforting nod to my sister

once she completed her speech, in other words telling her how well she did.

Tony - All your organising was outstanding and the meeting we had with you on

that Monday was so professional and you answered all the questions we

were thinking.
